Let’s Raise a Glass

We’d like to say a big thank you to local company Morley Glass for an extremely generous gift towards supporting families in Leeds. Morley Glass have come up with a fantastic sustainable solution to the waste glass from old windows. Rather than it sitting in landfill forever, they have invested in a machine called CRUSH which, as the name suggests crushes the glass and enables it to be recycled to make new window panes (check out https://www.morleyglass.co.uk/glass-recycling-leeds/). What’s more, they decided to give the extra money this makes to local initiatives and charities. It’s both a brilliant green initiative and amazingly generous. Thank you Morley Glass for a crushingly kind gift!

This sums up for us why we do what we do. Everyone deserves to know that they matter, whatever their circumstances and challenges.
