What’s next?

As an innovative and agile charity we are always looking for new ways to support the families that are most in need.

Child engaging in a fun, imaginative craft activity at Flourishing Families Leeds, showcasing creativity and developmental play in a supportive environment.

As new challenges emerge and policies change, we respond with ideas that actually work.

From launching new exciting early years groups for isolated parents, reshaping our literacy work around “reading for pleasure” in anticipation of nationwide policy shifts that are now in play, to launching exciting outdoor activities next year, we’re constantly responding to real need with creativity and care.

Every project starts with a question: who’s missing—and how can we reach them?

Our big vision is to go

Two young girls enjoying a storybook together in a classroom setting, promoting family literacy and early reading skills.

  • Deeper – strengthening relationships with every family through new activities
  • Wider – reaching more communities in Leeds
  • Older – supporting older children and pre-teens facing mental health challenges
  • Younger – creating community and support for new parents facing isolation
  • Further – taking our proven and scalable model beyond Leeds to other cities with plans to begin work in Hull in the near future
