After many weeks of hard work grappling grammar and new vocabulary at English class, we finished the term with a Christmas party. Apart from the amazing spread of food from Iran, Poland, Chile, Italy and Turkey, we enjoyed a traditional British evening with Christmas crackers, carols from Kings College Cambridge, and a Christmas quiz.

This year we’ve begun exciting plans to help transform futures and change lives in Hull, one of the most disadvantaged cities in the UK, where 33.4% of children live in relative poverty.
Earlier this month we had the privilege of hosting the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Member of Parliament for Leeds West and Pudsey, Rachel Reeves, at a showcase of the work we do to empower families.
