2017

We launched our very first Family Cookery Club back in 2017. Over the last 5 years these groups have developed into places where food poverty, poor nutrition and childhood obesity are tackled. The lives of families are literally transformed meal by meal. Five years on and we can look back at hundreds of families who have learnt to cook healthy meals with us. One mum, Tracy, would tell you that she could just about manage to make beans on toast before coming to a cookery club. She recently said, “I can’t believe I can now cook! We’ve got food on the table every night. You’ve changed things for us. That cookery club has made such a difference.”
