We are proud of our partnerships with so many excellent schools across deprived communities in Leeds.

We are proud of our partnerships with so many excellent schools across deprived communities in Leeds.
We also know that so much is asked of school staff already. This is why our model is designed around truly partnering together to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. We provide a full staff team, all equipment and materials, and every group is completely free to our associated schools. We often run more than one group in a school and will always work with you to support families and children in your school community.
All feedback from parents and children attending Flourishing Families groups is extremely positive. Everyone is made to feel at ease. The Family Cookery Clubs have helped to strengthen family bonds and help combat food poverty in a meaningful way. The mentoring sessions have been particularly invaluable and we have seen how the children have grown in confidence and made new friends. The groups have absolutely helped their emotional wellbeing. The school benefits significantly from the work Flourishing Families provides. It has been brilliant collaborating with such a wonderful organisation and staff.
Sarah Brown, Deputy Head, Westwood Primary SchoolWe’ve really valued our collaboration and the positive impact FFL groups have had within our school community. They’ve provided parents with valuable skills and a greater sense of involvement in their children’s education. The supportive and accessible approach FFL brings helps to build stronger connections between families and the school, and we’ve seen increased confidence and engagement from parents as a result. It’s been a real benefit to our whole school community.
Lisa Hutchinson, Learning Mentor, Little London AcademyOur school is proud to partner with Flourishing Families. The Flourishing Families team truly understands the challenges of a busy school environment and provides a partnership that is both flexible and well-structured. This thoughtful approach has had a truly meaningful impact on our school community. The difference in our children and families has been clear to see. From engaging cooking groups to inspiring reading sessions, the activities have been thoroughly enjoyed by all. It’s a partnership that brings genuine value where it’s needed most, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration.
