Introducing…

We are delighted to introduce our newest member of staff, Olivia, who will be starting work with Flourishing Families in September. Olivia is a language specialist and has lots of teaching experience with both adults and children. Join me as I find out a little more about her with the help of a few questions…

Hi Olivia! Tell me about yourself… where are you from?

Hello! I’m originally from Teeside.

What were you doing previously?
I’ve done a few different things- involving working and studying as a teacher of English as a foreign language. More recently, I’ve just finished my MA in Education Studies and International Perspectives.

Where is the most interesting place you have visited?
I love travelling and exploring new places! It’s hard to pick one, but I’m a big fan of Krakow and Rome.

What is your favourite thing to cook or bake?
I’ve got a really sweet tooth so basically anything sweet. I like to bake things that involve chocolate and peanut butter!

What excites you most about joining FFL?
I love everything that Flourishing Families does , but I’m really looking forward to working and developing the English language teaching side of things.

This sums up for us why we do what we do. Everyone deserves to know that they matter, whatever their circumstances and challenges.
