Hull and Beyond…running towards the future
This year we’ve begun exciting plans to help transform futures and change lives in Hull, one of the most disadvantaged cities in the UK, where 33.4% of children live in relative poverty.

English Class finished for this term with our annual English class summer party. The students, teachers and volunteers gathered at a local pub in Leeds for drinks, snacks and a pub quiz.
The students’ knowledge on flags, famous landmarks and well-known British figures was tested in the quiz, and it was a great time to relax and enjoy the last meeting together. Classes stop for the summer now and will start again in September!

Earlier this month we had the privilege of hosting the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Member of Parliament for Leeds West and Pudsey, Rachel Reeves, at a showcase of the work we do to empower families.
“You saved Christmas for us,” Gemima said as we handed over four gift-packed stockings for her kids and three large bags of food.
