Slow Cooker Appeal Update
We are immensely grateful to everyone who has contributed to our slow cooker appeal.

We’re so grateful for all the help we have received enabling us to feed vulnerable families at this time, from generous grants to help with the shopping. Thank you Harvey and Brett from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation– having a couple of rugby players certainly helped with carrying all those cans!
Over the last few weeks we have fed 92 families, helping them through the initial shock of job losses and lockdown. One mum sent us a text, “Receiving the food has been a god send and helped me so much in not having to go out to buy the food. It’s helped so much with my mental health. I am overwhelmed with how much help I have received during this outbreak. I live on my own with my son and times are hard at the moment with no work so I appreciate all that you’ve done for me and my family. Thank you”
A dad said “I don’t know what I would have done without Flourishing Families’ food.”
We are so grateful for everyone who has rallied around to help us, for your kindness and your hearts towards these families – thank you from them and from us.

What a great term it has been at FFL! We have been busy delivering our various groups and programmes around Leeds. Our families have loved coming along to the groups and have benefitted hugely from the activities and support from the FFL team.
We are so grateful for the amazing support given to us by Tall, the digital creative agency based in Leeds. Earlier this year they redeveloped our website for us, and we are thrilled with the results!
This term we have been thrilled to start our latest Enhanced Volunteer Programme!
