English Class Pancake Party

This term our English class had a great time celebrating Shrove Tuesday together. We enjoyed making and eating pancakes and trying out some traditional toppings from different parts of the world. This included apple and sweet cheese pancakes from Poland and pancakes with caramel from South America!

The students also had the chance to learn about the history of Shrove Tuesday in the UK, as well as some English customs and traditions. A highlight was also the Pancake Face Quiz, where the students had to figure out celebrity faces made from pancakes! All in all, it was a great time together!

This sums up for us why we do what we do. Everyone deserves to know that they matter, whatever their circumstances and challenges.
