Hull and Beyond…running towards the future
This year we’ve begun exciting plans to help transform futures and change lives in Hull, one of the most disadvantaged cities in the UK, where 33.4% of children live in relative poverty.

There’s nothing more fun than a bit of festive baking in the Christmas season! Our family cooking groups have been perfecting the art of making yule logs, Christmas biscuits and snow balls. Meanwhile, our family craft groups have been using their creative powers to turn paper plates and empty toilet rolls into mini Santas, angels, elves and reindeer. It’s been great!

Earlier this month we had the privilege of hosting the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Member of Parliament for Leeds West and Pudsey, Rachel Reeves, at a showcase of the work we do to empower families.
“You saved Christmas for us,” Gemima said as we handed over four gift-packed stockings for her kids and three large bags of food.
