Ricky, who was barely scraping by, recently told us he was genuinely worried his children will starve this winter.

Flourishing Families wants to give a slow cooker and ingredients to every family we support. Slow cookers use far less energy than conventional ovens. So, we’ll be teaching how best to use them, developing simple and economical recipes and giving families ingredients packs as well.
