2019

In 2019 our English Conversation Class continued to thrive and grow. Our classes welcomed people from many different nations, providing a space to learn new language skills and connect with others in a relaxed and hospitable environment. 2019 was also the year that our Story Tellers programme was launched. Story Tellers groups make reading fun and give families the opportunity to spend quality time together. They not only boost confidence in reading for children, they empower parents too, enabling the whole family to increase their literacy skills together. Here is Amy’s story about the significant impact Story Tellers has had on the whole family.

This sums up for us why we do what we do. Everyone deserves to know that they matter, whatever their circumstances and challenges.
